Xavier Desmaison

President

Xavier Desmaison is the CEO and founder of the Antidox group. Within the group itself, he is also co-Chair of Monolith Partners, an agency specialising in the use of adtech to serve brands. He is also a publisher, a lecturer at Sciences Po, and an active participant in a number of associations.

He was formerly a director of a consulting firm specialising in digital strategy and social listening. His previous work involved responsibility for strategy, business development and marketing at an Internet start-up, then a role handling content at Yahoo! France. Following this, he worked as a financial analyst at CAI Cheuvreux in London, then as a strategy analyst at Arcelor and with the Caisse d’Épargne’s Management Board. He is a graduate of the Sciences-Po and Essec institutions, and holds a DEA in economics and a history degree from the Université Paris-Dauphine.

He is Collections Director for the Editions Hermann publishing firm. Since 2006, he has lectured at Sciences-Po in “European Questions” on its Public Affairs Masters course, and in “Influence and e-influence communication strategy” at the School of Management and Innovation and the Public Affairs Masters course. He has worked at a variety of higher education institutions (HEC, IESA, ISCOM). An avid art lover, he is a founding member of the Prussian Blue art journal’s editorial board.

In his work as a business angel, he sits on the Board of Directors of a dozen or so start-ups in sectors such as greentech, edtech, artificial intelligence and media. He is an administrator and scientific advisor for the 3E media group, and a professional publisher in the field of clean tech, smart grids and smart buildings (J3E, Electricien 3E, Lumière).

His involvement in the voluntary sector includes chairing Civic Fab, a citizen organisation putting digital technology to use in public interest and social innovation projects, specialising in the fight against hate speech and the promotion of critical ways of thinking. He heads the Honorary Committee of the “France Fraternités” association, which promotes the fundamental values of the French Republic and employs an innovative accommodation centre model for statutory refugees. He sits on the Board of Directors of Cercle K2, a security think tank.
